Mascara Types

maybellinemodel.jpgThere are many different types of mascara. It’s always nice to be able and choose which type fits best for your needs and occasion. We’ll discuss a few of the most basic types to give you an idea.

If you have thin eyelashes, you may want to go with a thickening mascara. This will liven up you lashes by making them look fuller. Mascara brands that are caranuba wax based help with thickness.

There’s lengthening mascara. These types of mascara sometimes contain tiny nylon or rayon fibers. These tiny fibers stick to your lashes giving them a longer appearance.

Waterproof mascara is always nice to have. These types of mascara come in handy for athletes or anyone who may sweat or be in wet conditions.

There are many great brands that are waterproof including some featured on our main page.

If you’re in a hurry you may want to use an anticlumping mascara. You can usually apply several coats and still end with a great look without any clumping going on.

Defining mascara coats each individual lash keeping them seperated and natural looking.
